Hey all! :}

I baught a new sketchbook a few days ago in an attempt to get back into my art, and thaught it would be a good idea to get a thread going to keep my motivation up and hopefully get some useful C&C. I also have a copy of Painter and used to like speedpainting, so I'll probably post my efforts in that department here as well.

Here's the first batch I've done over the weekend...

(Hopefully I can manage to get at least a page or two done on work days too. )

wow, I love the tones on the face of that person in the cave. You should post some of your speed painting work, I'm interested in seeing it.

Managed to fit a page in during my dinner break yesterday...

Like you sketchbook. The skulls are awsome. May I suggest going darker on the tones. It gray on grays.

i like the environment line work, try that on your portraits/character it is much looser, and dont eat apple while sketching!
