Love your work. The simplicity of the design and the palette really work. Only big, major crit is that keep the sig on the pictures in one location and do not plaster it all over the work. That Hulk piece is nice but it is ruined from seeing CHEEKS run all over his body.

The lines are looking better than ever. Some of the colors aren't workin for me, I hate to say (compared with some of your other stuff especially), but the lines seem even more organic and awesome than before.

thank you, Everyone.
i'm not sure i'll be revisiting the sketch version of me, Mike. i wanted that to pop away from all the cleanliness just to have it's own cotrast of reality versus fiction.

Oh man! This are so cool! I really like the green-ish ones near the middle of the post.

your work has always been so clean but i like some of the rougher sketches

hey man, great stuff! when looking at some of the pics I almost expect them to start moving just within the next second, almost a bit frustrated to see them don't move :) but it should be a good compliment for your dynamic poses and movement flow/ read, awesome.

Jason Ross, although i have an appreciation for many forms of art, I live by the rule less tells more, but only for what i want to create.

!!!! damn brilliant work man, have you worked on games ? if so I'd love to check out some titles you've worked on. I think the thundercats character is my favorite. I just get such a sense of excitement and adventure from everything you do. And all in a cool nostalgic innocent way?
October 4th, 2007, 11:53 AM
I've been a fan for ages now, Cheeks. Your style is just so freaking fresh. You can't but like it. Plus, you worked on Hellboy Animated. That makes you doubly cool in my books. I also have a piece of your original art by way of the HB Animated trading cards, which I'm never getting rid of :)
October 16th, 2007, 05:12 AM
