[ When blending animals, keep in mind that the there are not likely going to be species-specific distinctions or delineations between, for example, the legs and the body... ]
[ ...Unless you're creating something like mythology's gryphon, and the separation between the parts is a result of conscious intent. ]
[ ...So, I guess what I'm saying is: Avoid just tossing a sheep's head onto a crab's body. ]

"Though unusualy crabby to begin with, the office sheep is most crabby when his coffee runs out in the middle of a double shift."
Sheep Crab

"Born and raised on land until the protective cotton undercoat is fully grown, these crustaceans are most known for their peculiar habit of shrinking upon first entering their preferred watery habitat."

Had a little fun with the first one, tried to make the second one conceivable with large hooves on the claws and what not... good doodles at any rate.

Just pencils, was to late to add any colour. Still might throw bit on after work.
Good work Ryoken. Got some real nice colours and textures in your second one.

Low profile, stocky and dangerous due to its territorial and aggressive nature, the River Sheep's fleece is prized for it's natural sea green color.
