Chapter 2 : The Hot Gates

Hope you're all ready for round 2!!

This week the aim is:

Produce 50 gestures and a one hour value study by the end of Saturday the 7th of July (your local time).
REPORT IN BELOW.

To clarify - there seems to be some confusion. This exercise is separate from last weeks. Gestures done for last week don't count. We're looking for 50 new gestures.

The gestures can be of anything, people, feet, hands, paws, claws, sentient turnips, robots etc.

Please limit your value study to an hour. If you wish to refine it, post a one hour snap shot and then a final. It can be of anything you want, from as simple as an egg to a complex enviro.


Again, please put all your pics in the one post for ease of viewing. :)

Is it okay if I skip the 50 gestures from the first assignment? If you look through my sketchbook you can find well over 50 full body gestures in my last two updates, so that probably counts huh?

Hehe ofcourse I'll do the fifty this week. It just felt like a bit much to do 50 full body gestures from last week as well this week. And the gestures from this week can be non-human as well right? I'll be sketching some cats ^^

In fact mine start out as 2 pages of unreffed...then I realised I sucked and did a page of reffed fashion stuff, which still suck.
Added the one hour value study today plus some extra fashion doodles.

I'm rusty in this area so I need the training. Need to do another 50 to catch up with last weeks assignment.

Studies basically from wooden mannequin. One to two minute studies. Think I technically did more then 50...lost count..

Ok back to do the actual posting. I ended up only doing 49 because i counted wrong! *mumbles under breath* Anyway i will do the remaining one before the study!

Man i have tried so many times to log in here and post my stuff and in this particular thread and post and it just refuses to show me the attachements button. I have gone to other posts, in my sb and others where i have replied and they all let me manage my attatchements if i choose advanced options, but not this post in this thread. I apologize profusely for the quality, I didn't realize my stroke was so light. On the plus side, I think I'm really starting to understand how to analyze the model, not necessarily go w/contours etc. Some of the best looking stuff is only a few lines.
